Lazure by Andrade

I recently received an e-mails from Charles and Karyn Andrade Advertising their practice. I have not yet written much about Lazure painting though I am familiar with Lazure and have had the fortune of experiencing examples of Lazure on several occasions. My formal, as well as informal, education in the arts was not Anthroposphical. I received a heavy dose of modernism, which is sometimes short on subtlety. Lazure painting, like veil painting at its best, is subtle but profound, both aesthetically and experientially. In 2003 I was at an art conference in Denver Colorado which met in a room painted with  lazure techniques. A photograph cannot convey the full effect. As the day progressed and the light changed, the delicate colors also changed. This had both a calming and invigorating effect.

I was happy to see that Lazure by Andrade offers products which allow individuals to produce their own Lazure paintings, and experience its effects in their own spaces.
